Automotive Mechanic (Performance/Custom Builds)

As Gorilla Builds keeps expanding, we are looking for experienced mechanics who can handle both precision work and the occasional bit of creative thinking. We specialize in performance upgrades, exotic builds, and full custom commissions. This means every project is different and demands both technical skill and attention to detail.

Your work will involve installing and setting up suspension systems, turbo conversions, custom exhaust routing, and transmission rebuilds. You will also assist in diagnostic and consultation jobs for client cars. Since we work closely with our customers, you will need to be comfortable explaining what is going on under the hood in a way that makes sense, whether the client is an enthusiast or just someone who wants their dream car built right.

We are not looking for someone who only wants to clock in and clock out. We need someone who lives and breathes cars and wants to push their craft further.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive mechanics with a relevant education

• Comfort with manual transmission and performance work

• Ability to work independently and think outside the box when standard solutions don’t fit

• Welding and electrical skills

• Must speak English or Dutch fluently
